On Saturday September 20th, 2014, Moreno Valley Councilman George Price held a meeting to hear from his constituents, however that meeting which was held at the Vanguard Art Gallery, seemed to have been hijacked by developer Iddo Benzeevi.
In looking over the photos available on-line, it was quite apparent a fix was in on this meeting, as most of those who were in attendance were either associated with Highland Fairview’s World Logistics campaign or past volunteers against the recall of then Councilman Tom Owings.
One of the most slanted views however is the one which can be found on the Vanguard Art Gallery Facebook page, is that only one picture appears from this meeting which George Price held to meet with his constituents to hear their concerns and to get their feedback on the issues important to them and that is of Iddo Benzeevi taking Mr. Prices place and addressing the crowed on his project and agenda for Moreno Valley, while Councilman Price simply stands with his head down in the foreground aside Mr. Benzeevi.
This from an attendee of the meet and greet:
“Went to George’s meet and greet yesterday morning; SURPRISED when I arrived around 11:30, IDDO had hijacked the meeting for District 3 talking about the importance of jobs in city and his WLC.”
“I met one of his new paid walkers who was hired last week by a lady named Irene who lives in the LA area. The paid walker said she is paid $15.00 an hour and they were all told to come to District 3 meet and greet and be nice to everyone they meet.”
“There is a quota for them to meet on how many YES signatures they get as they go through neighbors, but she found a lot of people are mad and not signing the form.”
Here is what District Two Council Candidate Debra Craig had to say about the event:
“I’m sorry I missed this but am glad so many people took the opportunity to attend. What a great idea holding it at the Vanguard Art Gallery. I need to remember to start posting their events again. Thank you George Price! You are such an asset to our City Council and community.”
**In case you didn’t know, Mr. Archer along with Michael Geller are strong allies of Iddo Benzeevi and supporters of the World Logistics Center project, so of course Iddo Benzeevi and his crew were going to show up and steal the show (that is if that is what they did and it wasn’t a pre-planned event by the Benzeevi crew).
